Chain Soldering
When a chain breaks, we carefully realign the broken ends and add a small amount of solder to reconnect the two points. Once the bond is secure, we file down any excess solder to ensure the surface is smooth and seamless, making sure the repair is virtually invisible. After that, the piece goes to our expert polisher, who removes any scratches and brings back the original shine—leaving your chain looking as good as new.
Link Repair or Replacement
If a link in your chain or bracelet is broken, bent, or missing, we carefully assess the damage and either repair the existing link or replace it with a new one. When replacing, we match the style and size of the original link to maintain the look and flow of the piece. If the damaged link is gold, we may offer credit for it. Once the link is repaired or replaced, we solder it securely, file down any excess, and polish the entire area to restore its smoothness and shine—leaving your jewelry looking and wearing like new.
Clasp Repair or Replacement
If your clasp is broken, loose, or no longer secure, we’ll repair it or replace it entirely—depending on its condition. We carefully remove the old clasp and attach a new one that matches the style and metal of your chain or bracelet. If the original clasp is gold, we may be able to offer credit for it. The new clasp is securely soldered, then filed and polished to ensure a smooth finish. After a final polish, your piece will close properly and look as good as new.
Necklace Shortening or Lengthening
To shorten a necklace, we carefully measure and cut it to the desired length, then solder the ends back together. We file down any excess solder and polish the piece to restore its shine. For lengthening, we can add jump rings to the ends, giving the necklace a little extra length, or if preferred, cast a matching link to seamlessly integrate into the design. The necklace then goes through the same filing and polishing process, leaving it looking as good as new.
Jump Ring Replacement
For jump ring replacement, we begin by removing the damaged ring and checking its size and material. A new jump ring is then securely attached and soldered in place. We file down any excess solder for a smooth finish, then polish the piece to remove scratches and bring back its original shine—leaving your jewelry looking as good as new.
